Two (2) Jilin-1 Hyperspectral Satellite sensors were successfully launched on January 21, 2019 from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center. Jilin-1 Hyperspectral Satellites are a part of the Jilin-1 satellite constellation and will provide high resolution satellite imagery of 5 meters with 28 hyperspectral bands.

The Jilin-1 Hyperspectral Satellites will be useful for mapping such as environmental monitoring, forestry, energy, land development and agriculture.
